Engineered Art

Design

• To achieve a perfect fit, Vossen gathers over 100 data points on each vehicle, tailoring every wheel to specific makes and models.

Concave Profile Flexibility

• All Vossen Forged wheels are crafted using a proprietary forging process that optimizes spoke profiles. This method adds material to the wheel face, enabling profiles from flat to deep concave, so an 8.5” wheel can have the concavity of a 12.5” wide wheel.

Finishing

• Vossen’s in-house finishing facility uses advanced technology to deliver premium finishes. From ceramic polishing to powder coating, Vossen controls every step to ensure top-tier results.
  • Hand Prep: Step 1 – After machining, each wheel is hand-sanded and deburred to ensure a perfect finish. Brushed wheels undergo an intensive hand-sanding process, which can take up to five hours per wheel, to achieve a uniform texture.
  • Brushing & Polishing: Step 2 – The most time-consuming and rewarding stage is brushing and polishing. These enhancements are available for all Vossen Forged wheels. Brushed wheels showcase the natural beauty of the forged aluminum grain, while ceramic polishing results in a mirror-like shine. The combination creates a high-end aesthetic.
  • Pre-Treatment: Step 3 – Following hand prep, all wheels go through a seven-stage pre-treatment cleaning process to eliminate impurities before powder coating, ensuring a stronger and more even finish.
  • Powder Coating: Step 4 – In Vossen’s dedicated powder coating facility, advanced components and high-quality powders are used to achieve a durable, consistent finish.
  • Final Visual Inspection: Step 5 – After powder coating, each wheel undergoes a final inspection to confirm the uniformity and quality of the finish. A film thickness gauge checks consistency before the wheels are cleaned and packed for shipment.

Center Caps

• Vossen’s center caps are designed for durability and a cohesive appearance. Available in polished or brushed finishes, the caps feature the signature red “V” shield as standard. Standard finishes are included at no extra charge, with the option to color-match the wheel for an additional cost. For an upgrade, Vossen offers Forged Billet Caps with exclusive “V” inserts. Vossen also provides a floating cap option, which can be selected for Rolls Royce vehicles (a “plate” option is required for floating caps).
